SIA “Green Steel” respects the privacy of website visitors, clients and cooperation partners and processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia.

2. PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS

Depending on the communication method used and the information submitted, we may process:
  • first name and surname;
  • company name;
  • email address;
  • telephone number;
  • project location;
  • selected service;
  • planned project schedule;
  • description of the project and required works;
  • submitted drawings, technical documentation and links to documents;
  • correspondence and communication information;
  • technical information about website use, including IP address, device type, browser and cookie data.
Please do not submit information that is not necessary for assessing the project or communicating with us.

3. PURPOSES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

Personal data may be processed in order to:
  • receive and assess project enquiries;
  • contact the person submitting an enquiry;
  • clarify the project scope, schedule and technical requirements;
  • prepare a quotation or cooperation proposal;
  • arrange the conclusion and performance of a contract;
  • communicate with clients and cooperation partners;
  • comply with accounting and other legal obligations;
  • protect the legitimate interests of SIA “Green Steel”;
  • ensure website security and operation;
  • analyze website use where the visitor has consented to the relevant cookies.

4. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

Personal data is processed on the basis of:
  • the data subject’s request and steps taken before entering into a contract;
  • the conclusion and performance of a contract;
  • compliance with the legal obligations of SIA “Green Steel”;
  • the legitimate interests of SIA “Green Steel”, including communication, service improvement and the protection of legal rights;
  • the data subject’s consent where required, including for certain cookies or marketing communications.
Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. PROJECT ENQUIRY FORM

SIA “Green Steel” may use Google Forms to receive project enquiries.
When a form is submitted, the information provided is sent to SIA “Green Steel” and used solely to assess the enquiry, communicate with the sender and arrange potential cooperation.
Google may process technical data in accordance with its own service and privacy terms. We recommend reviewing Google’s Privacy Policy before using the form.

6. RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be accessed by:
  • authorized employees and cooperation partners of SIA “Green Steel” who require the data to perform their duties;
  • website, email, data storage and information technology service providers;
  • website and statistical solutions provided by Tilda Publishing;
  • Google Forms and Google Drive services used to receive and store project enquiries, documentation and drawings;
  • accounting, legal and other professional service providers;
  • public authorities and law-enforcement bodies where required by law.
Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for purposes unrelated to project assessment, cooperation or compliance with legal requirements.

7. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA

When certain technology service providers are used, personal data may be processed outside the European Union or European Economic Area.
In such cases, personal data is transferred only where an appropriate data protection mechanism compliant with the GDPR is in place.

8. DATA RETENTION

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant processing purpose.
Project enquiry and communication data is generally retained for up to two years after the most recent communication, unless a contract has been concluded or another legal basis requires longer retention.
Information relating to contracts, transactions and accounting is retained for the periods prescribed by applicable law.
Once the retention period expires, the data is deleted, anonymized or archived where required by law.

9. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

You have the right to:
  • request information about the processing of your personal data;
  • access your personal data;
  • request correction of inaccurate data;
  • request deletion where there is no legal basis for continued retention;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where applicable;
  • withdraw previously given consent;
  • submit a complaint to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia.

10. DATA SECURITY

SIA “Green Steel” uses reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, alteration or destruction.
However, no information transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

11. COOKIES AND WEBSITE STATISTICS

The website uses technically necessary cookies and Tilda’s internal statistics to evaluate website traffic, devices used, pages viewed and user activity on the website.
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are not currently used.
Statistics and other cookies are used in accordance with the visitor’s selections in the cookie notice. Visitors may change their choices in the cookie settings or browser settings.

12. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

The website may contain links to third-party websites and services. SIA “Green Steel” is not responsible for personal data processing carried out by those third parties.
